Some might wonder how do I live a fabulous life on a budget, and the answers are simple. But first, I will add in a few things about me. I’m currently a Grad Student, and I’m not in my career job yet. I do have a very supportive family. I know how to manage money, and I do believe in living my best life every day without going broke. So, after introducing a little bit about myself, it’s time to get in what I mean by me living a fabulous life on a budget.
Looking good and feeling Better, yes that’s my motto, haha. I love to look good and feel even better. The older I got, the more I paid close attention to my appearance, which is keeping up with my hair and nails and dressing more modest. Again, I know how to manage my money, and I have specific times when I plan to get my hair and nails done. Although how I view myself is essential, I also want to make sure I feel my best! Going to sleep with a prayer and in a peaceful mindset sets the mood for me waking up with a smile. I focus on eating healthier and taking time to do exercise throughout the week.
Travel for cheap! One thing about me is that I love to travel. A lot of people I’ve met think traveling is so expensive, but it’s not. I love booking my trips on expedia.com. I often choose the bundle deals, because bundle deals make things much cheaper. Although I take a lot of trips, I know how to book the best hotels, and fly on the top-rated airlines. It’s all about how you work the business as me, and my sister would say. I’ve already taken three trips this year, and I plan to go on one more.
Treat yourself without going broke! Whew, if you know me, you know I love to treat myself. I love going to brunch with friends, various activities, and a course shopping because that’s just what I do. The thing about treating myself is not going overboard. I’m not going to do brunch, various activities, and shopping every day. I remind myself that I’m still building my savings account and best believe it’s going to be huge. So I treat myself with money leftover in my bank account.
Cheers to where I’m at and where I’m going! It’s a blessing to see where God has me now, and I can only imagine where he is going to lead me in the future. It’s incredible how I can take a little and stretch it to make it a lot. But it’s not me; it’s all God. Being on a budget is not a burden; it’s indeed a blessing. It’s showing me that no matter how much money I have; I can still be fabulous on a budget.
