With everything going on right now, I will always keep a mask on. With having family members and friends being affected by the Covid-19 virus, I vow to protect myself and others. Currently, this virus isn’t going away, and numbers are constantly increasing with new cases. Wearing a mask isn’t hard for me, because thankfully I have a stash at home, and if not, there are plenty of places to buy them, and I do have a connection which has made them before.
Better safe than sorry, I was pleased to see that many stores now mandate masks for shopping. These stores include Walmart, Best Buys, Kroger, Target, Apple, and the list continues. I recently went to Walmart, and it felt good seeing everyone, including children wearing a mask. Walmart also had the store super clean, hand sanitizer throughout the store, and facial mask available to buy when you first enter the store. I also forgot to mention that Walmart workers had a box of free ones that they were handing out for those who didn’t have a mask. Individuals who don’t agree with wearing a mask have other options. Some stores offer pickup and delivery services.
I still can’t believe that I’m living in a pandemic. Whew, it’s been a lot, but honestly, wearing a mask isn’t the hardest part of this pandemic at all. The hardest part is watching family, friends, and people I don’t know suffer from having the Covid-19 virus. It’s honestly too much going on, but I remind myself that God is still in control. I can’t tell others what to do, but I know for me, I will always have my mask on.
