What Are You Thankful For?

People often are so busy that they don’t stop to even say thank you for all that God has given them or has done for them. As Thanksgiving is approaching, all I can see is myself posting a picture to my social media accounts saying, “What are you thankful for?”, comment below. There is so much to be thankful for in this world. So why not pull out a list and start reflecting on things that you are thankful for, and don’t you dare say nothing. There is always something or multiple things to be thankful for. I listed below twenty things I’m thankful for, but trust me, the list goes on.

1. God, he is my everything.

2. My family, they always have my back and front.

3. My home, a place where I can wake up and come after work and feel safe.

4. My car, although I’ll be getting a new one, I’m still thankful for the one I have now.

5. My job. Yes, I get tired at times but I’m thankful.

6. Clothes because I’m a fashion lover, and I can’t be nude all the time.

7. Peace, because without it I would be LOCO.

8. My Sorority, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.

9.Water because I need it to drink, shower, wash my hair, and more.

10.Money in the bank, because I love to use it and bless people with it.

11. Social Media, it’s a great way to connect and promote.

12. Godly friends, I need them.

13. Food, because where would I be without it?

14. Growth, I’m glad to better than before.

15. Love, because it feels good and it brings joy.

16. My church, FBBC! I have a great church home and pastor.

17. Sunshine, because joy comes in the morning.

18. Education, there is always something to learn.

19. Animals, the world would be boring without them.

20. YOU, because you took time out your day to click on this blog post.

And, my list goes on.

As you can see there is so much to be thankful for. While making a list it’s like you’re counting your blessings. I encourage you to make a list of all the things you’re thankful for.

  1. I absolutely love this post! I’m reminded that, “ “Thankfulness is not some sort of magic formula; it is the language of Love, which enables you to communicate intimately with Me.”
