It’s one thing to be fabulous and another thing to be healthy, but when you’re both it’s a double win. Growing up I use to never care about what I ate, but my dad always made sure that I didn’t keep eating the worse foods just to feel good. Being healthy was always the goal, but bad eating habits became more appealing. Being fabulous became easy. My mother always kept my sister and I in the best clothes, and every two weeks, I was up for a hair appointment. With saying all that, I wrote this blog to explain how to be fabulous and healthy! First, it’s important to become healthy in the mind, body, and spirt. After becoming healthy in those things, being fabulous should come easy.
It starts in your mind! Having a healthy mind is important. What you think about can affect how you live daily. Your mind is power! Feed your mind just like you feed your body. Feed it with good stuff and take away the junk! Make it a habit to never stop learning! You might have heard the old saying, “Knowledge is power!” The more you learn the more you grow. Train your mind to seek happiness and not sadness. What you think and do can affect you. Aim to look for the best and watch your mind become healthier!!
A healthy body looks and feels good. What are you eating? Just because you’re skinny doesn’t mean you’re healthy. I’m saying this, because eating right can and will make a difference. Recently, I’ve been trying to give up pork, it’s so good but I’m aiming to be healthier! Also eating less seafood, because too much can cause mercury poisoning. The old Aeriel could eat seafood all day every day, but I now limit myself. Not only eating right, make time to exercise. Working out at least 30 mins a day has been doing wonders for me. It’s the small things that can make a huge difference. Having a healthy body is important to not only avoid hospital visits but also look good inside and out.
Is your spirit healthy? Spiritual health is what keeps me going every day. I love praying, doing my devotionals, and constantly seeking God. With a healthy spirit, it makes me feel more connected to God and others. With a healthy spirit, it helps me focus more and notice things around me more clearly. Make sure your spirit is healthy so it doesn’t become rotten and effect your everyday living.
The best way to stay fabulous is to be confident, keep yourself up, and most importantly make sure the spirit is healthy and being fed by God. Being fabulous means working on yourself and constantly growing! Treat yourself, be yourself, and celebrate who you are. Fabulous is a choice, and I love every bit of it.
