Single Twenties

I had the plan to interview five single ladies, but I wanted first to share my own experiences of being single in my twenties. I wrote this blog to share how it feels being single and the things I learned in my singleness. Single ladies, you might agree with some of these things, or maybe those reading might find out some information about me being single. So jump right in and see all that I have to say..

1. I believe that if I’m not married, I’m single.

2. While single in my twenties, I don’t entertain men who aim to be my sugar daddy, yes they do come after me.

3. During this time I’ve been able to work on myself and prepare myself for my next serious relationship/ commitment.

4. It’s important to be clear with someone and always truthful.

5. Don’t settle, wait for the man that wants me just as bad as I want him.

6. Respect my boundaries and the right guy will do the same.

7. Every man that looks good isn’t good for me.

8. I find it disgusting when married men try to come at me. I find it very distrustful, and I pray for them.

9. While single God has shown me that it’s more important to look at the man’s heart. The heart says a lot about the person.

10. It’s freedom to go out and look good with my girls while having some safe single fun.

11. I’m enjoying this single freedom for now, because once I’m committed I’m all in.

12. The man God has for me will be willing to wait for me.

13. Never get trapped into a relationship that’s not a relationship. It will and can bring on unwanted stress.

14. When someone shows you who they are the first time believe them.

15. I can be single and have attractive guy friends without wanting anything more than a friendship.

16. Never talk down on someone else’s relationship, they got it under control.

17. Being single and fabulous is a blessing.

18. One day I will be someone’s wife.

19. Waiting is better than faking, staying single until God says it’s time to turn over the single keys.

20. I find peace when praying for my future husband, I know he’s a man of God.
