Chasing Goals

Make sure you have on the right shoes and get your mind prepared. Chasing your goals come with rewards and satisfaction. Can we say FOCUS! Yes, we’re going to need to do that to! So after a long week serving others, I reminded myself to get back to chasing goals. I want to encourage someone to also get back to chasing your goals. It’s ok to stop, but this week is the week to get to moving. It’s important to pray up, eliminate the distractions, and use your connections.

When chasing goals, the first thing I like to do is pray before I start. Let God know your plans and make them clear. Goals can be small or big, but make sure you talk to God first in order to make the chase more peaceful without stress and chaos. People might not understand your goals, be careful who you tell. Once you pray and tell God, that’s really enough. Trust the people close to you if you choose, but make sure God is number one before starting the chase.

Can we please eliminate the distractions? I’m talking about me too! When going after my goals, I get all kinds of things and people coming my way. Whew, just thinking about it makes me dizzy. Once we eliminate the distractions, it gives us clarity when moving forward towards the goal. Satan get behind me! I like to say that often, because the enemy likes to cause chaos once you set your mind on elevation. In this season lets cancel all our distractions.

Use your connections, because I’m going to use mine. I love sending emails, making phone calls, and exchanging numbers with people that are good help. I have been slacking with reaching out, but all of that stops this week. Never be so busy or too quiet when it comes to using your connections. God has placed people in the world to help others. Don’t be afraid to reach out to those type of people.

Whatever you want to do, do it! Chase those goals. Write down your plans and give them over to God. This is a new week full of new victories. In the journey, don’t get tired, get hungry! Have the appetite of a winner to check off every goal on the checklist. I can do it, you can do it, we can do it.
