Recently I’ve been trying a lot of new things and it feels good. I’m the type of female that can easily get stuck doing the same thing. I must admit I thought it would be better playing it safe to avoid disappointment. I’m at the point now where it’s time to let some things go, add some stuff in and shake somethings up! Being stuck is no longer fun. It’s time to change it up sis!
What are you holding on to? While, cleaning out my closet, I found stuff that I should have been let go a long time ago. Holding on to stuff that I have not worn or used in years needs to go! Changing up my style when it comes to hair and nails also brought a new type of freedom. I had become stuck with the same nail salon and hair style for years. This year I decided to change a few things and with that came happiness and satisfaction. If I were to never change a few things I would have the same old stuff and remain stuck in places that I have out grown.
Adding in the new and letting go of old is goals. With letting go, it’s fun to add in. I’m loving the new company I keep, style that’s so classy, and exploring new hair and nail styles. I believe in order to grow, it’s important to step out and add some new changes in your life. Old ways don’t bring in new changes. Explore new things and move forward from the familiar. I do believe in playing it safe, but I’m now ready to take a few risk.
Shake things up! When trying new things, people will notice that you’re shaking things up sis! I remember when I got my new ponytail hairstyle, others didn’t know how to act! I loved my new hairstyle and new nail tech as well. In other words, I was giving others and myself changes and it felt good.
Now that the sun is out and June is here, it’s time to change it up sis! Try new things, meet new people, go new places, and whatever you do, don’t remain stuck. I’ve been stuck in different areas of my life but change for me starts now as well. I’m thankful for all the big and small changes that I aim to make.
