What’s Behind You?

While cleaning my closet yesterday, I decided to empty out everything. Yes, everything including all my shoes. I made up my mind that one of my goals this month was to become more organized. While cleaning my closet, I had the desire to look back and see all that I had to do, but something in my spirit said no. At that moment, I thought stop looking back and start looking forward.

So what’s the clutter in your life that you need to toss out? Is it a man, old sins, or just a lot of material junk? Whatever it is, let it go and don’t look back. A lot of things aren’t worth holding on to! Once we let go, it creates motivation to move forward!

I can admit some things we want to keep forever, but that season is now gone. It’s time to elevate and push towards the grips of our past. It’s hard to grow if we keep holding on to things that actually might be holding us back. Getting rid of old things is another form of therapy for me. That’s exactly how I felt cleaning on Sunday.

I have a shopping problem, ha! Cleaning out my closet has taught me to save my coins. Letting go of certain things can and will teach you a lesson! Once people and things have served for a season, God will be able ready to show and teach you some new things! Let go and find freedom.

So cheers to being more organized in all areas, not just some.
