While watching church on Sunday morning, The Holy Spirit spoke to me very clear. The message to me was, “This is the week of no more.” Believe it or not, I’ve been super busy, learning a lot of new things, and putting unnecessary stress on myself. It’s crazy how we can stress ourselves out. Little by little, I was doing too much and not getting enough sleep, fun time, or anytime to just relax. Going into the weekend, I felt a release as I was running a 5k and attending a festival. After thinking about this is the week of no more, I made a list. I thought about what all I refuse to accept moving forward. So what can you drop off this week to make your life better?
No more bad habits! Habits that don’t bring you peace must go! I’ve recently been staying up late, eating bad foods, and stressing myself out. Yes, all that is bad and it stops this week. I must admit, I couldn’t resist my grandma’s fried chicken, but I did workout afterwards! It’s ok for a cheat day as long as I don’t make these food cheat days a lifestyle. The same thing goes with staying up late. My job requires me to be up at 6 am, so I shouldn’t be up all night as if I work late in the afternoons. Perfection is the goal, but I no longer will accept stressing myself out to get to the top. I must trust God to pull me up in his timing.
So what is your no more? Are you done with having a pity party, making excuses, or whatever your no more might be! Let’s be clear, we only accept what we decide to put up with. Be better to yourself and watch how it can make a huge difference in your life. The more can be the reason for your headache, weight gain, weight loss, insecurities, or whatever it might be. Today I’m telling you to say NO MORE to the things that aren’t making you better. Cheers to getting on the right track this week. It’s time to pray and let those things that aren’t good for you go so that you can have peace and grow.
I plan on making “NO MORE” longer than a week. This is the new normal for me.
Nice post on bad habits! Needed that!
