The Life You Desire

Never give up on you! All of us desire something in life. Your something could be small or big, but you want something, and you can have it. It’s so easy to settle, but not settling is what makes us want to keep going and getting ahead in life. Although I’m not at my highest mountain in life, I know a few simple keys to getting closer to the life I desire. Dig in and maybe you can take a tip or two.

Pray about it! If you know about me, you know I’m a praying woman. I talk to God often. Whatever we desire in life, ask God. Tell him what you want and write it down. A lot of stuff I wrote down years ago, God has given them to me. If he hasn’t given me what I wanted, believe that he has given me better. I’m walking in some of my past prayers now. He is faithful.

Write about it, sing about it, or do whatever you have to do to get where you need to be. My thing is writing. I love writing out what I desire and then checking things off when they come true. I also like to write things down on my calendar. I like to set times and moves to be made. Although God’s timing is better than mine, I do like to have some dates to reach the desires of my heart.

Sometimes you have to wait. Waiting is not fun, but it pays off! I must admit when I waited on God, better came to me. Sometimes rushing God can end up in chaos! Choose to wait on the Lord and watch how he can blow your mind in all the rights ways. The life you desire might take time, but darling, it will be worth the wait. I have a couple of big things I’m waiting on now, but trust me, I smile in advance and walk as if they will arrive sooner than letter! The key is to not doubt, but have faith and believe.

God keeps his promises! A lot of people will fail you! To be honest, a lot of people aren’t faithful BUT GOD! Never give up on God because he won’t give up on you! God knows the life you desire, but sometimes he has to humble you first! A lot of things I wanted at a young age, I wasn’t ready for. Now in my mid-twenties, God has given me what I desired. Trust that he will give you the desires of you heart, if it’s his will.

So whatever life you desire, it can be yours! First you must believe, pray, do what you have to do, wait, and remember that God keeps his promises.
