While in church, I noticed I got an alert that my blog website had passed 10,000 views! All I could say was thank you Jesus, as I shared the news with my mom and sister! I’ve been blogging for a while, and I can honestly say this is my passion. It’s crazy how a simple post can help someone and even inspire me! If you’re good at something keep doing it until results start to show up. Whatever your passion is, a dare you to tap deeper into it.
You might not be great at first, but with consistency, you will mature your craft! I have a story about a makeup artist who did my makeup in the past, and she messed up one of my eyebrows! One of the women at the wedding bashed the artist, and it could have made her quit her passion. A few years later, I booked her to do my makeup for a photoshoot and it was the best I’ve ever had my makeup! She told me that she remembered me, and how she had advanced her craft. When I first started blogging, I had major grammatical issues. I had comments that hurt me, but they really only made me better. Don’t let hurtful words make you quit. I dare you to keep going.
Be real with yourself and others will see you through all the things that you love! Never try to copy someone else’s style. Keep being original. The authentic you will get you noticed and maybe even paid. Stop trying to be someone else, when others will fall in love with you! When it comes to social media, I plan to advance in that as well. I see now with consistency, anything is possible. Dear Instagram, I’ll have 10k followers soon, ha-ha!
So, you who’s reading this post, whatever you want to do, keep doing it! Things might be slow, but keep going! I pray that you get motivated today! Why wait for a tomorrow that’s not promised! I believe in you! I do suggest for you to believe in yourself too! These 10k views have only motivated me to go harder. Who knows what might be coming next!
