Sunday at church, my pastor preached a powerful sermon. One point that stood out to me was when he said, “Can you help a sister win!” So many women today try to block another female from getting ahead. I thought about some of things I’ve experienced in my life and seen while growing up. Why is it that some women would rather see another woman lose instead of win? I must admit there is room for everybody, so let’s help each other out! We can all win in our different ways. So don’t block another female, help her get through the door.
I remember the time when I was a senior in high school, and I got a job at a prestigious store. I later helped three or my friends get into the door at this store. The goal was if God has blessed me, then why not help my friends as well. In life, we can’t think someone is going to steal our spot. The enemy is a liar! We can all reach the top! Just imagine a group of women who are all successful! Sometimes all it takes is one to help another.
Be the strong sister to one that’s weak! Whew, I don’t know how many times strong women have had my back! I must first stop and give my mother and sister their flowers while they’re living! If it wasn’t for their help and prayers, I wouldn’t be the powerful Godly Women I am today. I wonder if you can say that about another woman that you know? If not, become the woman that you always needed for someone else!
Not only for the month of May, but for every month, let’s help another sister out! Stop trying to hurt the next female and start trying to see how you can be her friends and help her! Life is way too precious to be jealous or hateful towards another woman. Let’s all tap in and start to help another sister win.
