How To Thrive in The Season of Isolation

I had to ask God what was happening. I’m enjoying this time, but I feel like I’m on my own island. I started to think and realize that I’m in a season of isolation. It’s like things were moving, but just like a plant, I was growing in the same spot. I decided to write this blog to show how I’m thriving in the season of isolation.

1. Realize that you’re not alone. I realized that I’m not alone. God is constantly giving me advice and joy during this season. I learned to not go to certain places and entertain certain things, but at the same time, I’m going to new places and meeting new people that God sends my way! I’ve also been randomly meeting people that leave me praise for my kindness and the joy that I bring.

2. Get excited about boundaries! I realize that boundaries are my best friends. Isolation taught me how to stick to my boundaries and be happy about it! Saying no is not always bad and knowing what I will and won’t do is very important! If we don’t have boundaries, we don’t have self-control! Boundaries help us not sin but win!

3. Choose all things healthy with a smile! I feel extremely happy knowing that I’m putting everything healthy and good in front and not behind! No more gossip and negativity! This season is about focusing on the good and giving all the bad for Jesus to handle. Your health is important! This is the time to get healthy in all areas of your life.

4. Daily devotionals are amazing! During this season, I get so excited to start a new devotional! Shout out to my sister for always inviting me to a new devotional! When like-minded people send something great such as a devotional, they push you to thrive and grow in the season that you’re in!!

5. Forgive and let go so you can grow! This season has taught me that forgiveness is my best friend! Not only forgiving myself but others is so important! You thrive when you don’t let anger consume you! I encourage you to choose happiness.

So if you’re in a season of isolation, you can still thrive! God needs you in the season before he blesses you with more than you could imagine. He is not only removing, he’s also improving.
