Thanksgiving and Birthday Blessings

I would definitely do a rewind of Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday! Thanksgiving in Mississippi owes me nothing! This was my second time traveling to Mississippi for Thanksgiving and it was definitely worth another trip. This trip was also extra special because it was my sister’s birthday! I was like “Woah,” double the fun and double the blessings!Thanksgiving Day came so fast!Ashlee said in her adult years, this was one of her favorite birthday celebrations, this far!

“Aeriel, forget about all that you’re eating, because you will have time to work out when you get back.” I ate way too much but it was worth it! Not only was the food amazing, but we also played a lot of fun games and enjoyed karaoke! All the singers were amazing! I was a little shy to get up and sing, so I was cheering hard as others volunteered to go up! During all the fun, Uncle Chris also blessed Ashlee and I with an Air force teddy bear! Water filled my eyes as we thought about our father!

Black Friday, please!
So Black Friday was here, and my girls and I were ready! We had a late start, but I’m thankful. We ended up going to some of our favorite stores and spending the most time at stores we normally would pass by! With all the great deals and laughs, it was definitely time for lunch followed by more shopping! Other things we did on this day included watching a great movie and exploring parts of Mississippi that I’ve never seen before.

The weekend has arrived, and we are up for another day of fun! It’s time to get out and explore some more places! we went to a big outlet, tried some ramen from a well-known restaurant, and we ended the night with a family movie and great conversations! At this point, I’m tired and excited at the same time.

Leaving Mississippi, I was a little sad. I was also happy attend church with my brother-in-law and my sister Ashlee. We also went to see my sister’s classroom, and I tried the restaurant Raising Canes for the first time! If you know me, you know I will be down to try anything new.  After eating we went to the airport to head back home. We did our smiles and goodbyes! I can’t wait to take another trip back to Mississippi! Family is everything.
