Why limit a God that’s so big? I remember asking God to use me before I went on stage to pray at The Women of Worth Prayer Brunch. For this event, I was chosen to do the prayer of “knowing your worth”. I knew I could do it because knowing your worth is a topic that I’ve been heavy on for years. I then watched as my sister in Christ went up to pray before me. Her prayer was on being fearless. After her prayer, I was already moved to boldly hit the stage.
Taking the limits off for me means trusting God because with faith, I know I can do anything. I look at the women who came before me. I look at my grandmother and mother, real Proverbs 31 women! I look up to them and remember how they’ve been fearless over many years and are still fearless today. I think about my sister who let Go of her past to follow God and she later met her husband, a man of God, that respects and honors her! I used to be afraid of the big plans that God had for me, but now I’m screaming, “God I’m all in!”
After hearing my First Lady Speak, my eyes were full of tears. She inspired me with every word that came out her mouth. “God knows no impossible.”- Laneen Morgan. When I heard that, I said, “Exactly!” Why try to limit a God that can make our highest dreams become our reality? Let’s stop believing that we can’t have it all when we one can. What if God wants to give us what we want and more! This is the year to take the limits off!
Whatever fear that you’re holding, let it go! If you’re holding self-doubt, let it go! If you are holding on to negative people, let them go! Taking the limits off is personal! Trust God. The best happens when you let go and let God.
