On this Father’s Day, I celebrate my dad. He’s no longer here on earth but he lives in my heart forever. My dad is truly unforgettable, and the love of a good father can never be forgotten! He was always there for me and our family through the ups and downs! His strength kept us protected and secure. I wrote this blog to highlight what my father’s love did for me.
My father protected me from all the crazy noise and chaos in this world. His love covered me from enemies, and he always helped block dangers from me. His love made me feel safe and at peace. His protection is something I don’t take for granted and I will never forget.
My father was a very intelligent man! His love pushed me to feel as if I could accomplish anything! He is one of the reasons I got an MPH degree. He always told me that I was smart and to never settle. He often helped me solve difficult problems and showed me different ways to get ahead.
My father’s love taught me how to love everyone. He was quick to help the homeless and never was the kind of man who looked down on others. His love was gentle and kind. He also was the man who wanted to stand up for those others who looked down on talked about! His loving heart always turned away from negativity and gossip.
My father’s love made me a better person and part of the woman you see today. I’m thankful for you Dad, and I will always love you. Like I told you, I will love you in this life and afterwards.
