Light It Up!

“In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” -Matthew 5:16

In the world, there is so much darkness going on! Sin is seen everywhere, people are playing with dark spirits, evil is always near, and hate can be seen in person and over the internet! Now isn’t the time to play in darkness! It’s time to let your light shine brighter than ever! God makes ways for us to shine bright and they are as simple as acts of kindness, spreading the good news, and spreading the love of God!

What are your actions sayings? Are you helping others or hurting them? Do you volunteer to help others in their time of need? Letting your light shine involves shining in the lives of others just as much as your own life. Letting your light shine bright involves going over and beyond for yourself and others!

Spread the good news! Being the light involves speaking positively about yourself and others! Instead of running to tell others what is going wrong, spread the good news! With everything going on in the world right now, let’s focus on what’s going right. Don’t let your speech be filled with confusion and chaos. Let your words encourage others and be helpful.

Spreading the love of God can make your light shine even brighter. When we talk about, the goodness of Jesus, it can make someone go from sadness to happiness. Speaking about how much God loves you and others can make bad days turn into good days. The love of Jesus involves showing up with kindness and making an impact!

So, in this season, spread your light everywhere with no apologies. The world needs more people shining. You’re in this world for a reason. Keep being bright and keep making an impact. The world needs more of you.
