Let’s stop with the image shaming! Stop letting the world tell you how you should and shouldn’t look! So many people want the model body, long hair, and whatever else it maybe! I remember someone telling me you’re cute for a dark skin girl. I looked at that person and smiled! I said I’m cute because I’m a woman, and I’m made in God’s image! Confidence comes from knowing who made you and also knowing that humans will try to label you but ignore their ignorance.
You can go further and do more.Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” I remember a church woman telling me she sees so much more in me. She said it’s like you’re stuck in a box. I thought about it when she told me to travel the world, keep climbing, and stop playing it safe! Trust God and go! When we have self-doubt it will and can hold us back, trust me I’ve been there and I know. When we worry so much about how, when, and who it can hold us back and keep us STUCK. Have confidence and trust in the Lord. Have confidence and make some things happen.
You are the daughter of a king! God sits high and looks low! Walk in confidence and know that people are constantly watching. Be the light and share the light. Don’t walk with your head down low as if you’re defeated. Having confidence can change your life! Be proud of you and do you for you! Cheers to confidence.
