The Giving Plate

The Giving Plate

My mother was given a plate by a neighbor, which was generously filled with delicious cookies. The plate itself also featured an inspiring message that left a lasting impression. This message motivated me to write a blog post and consider various ways in which my readers and I can make a positive impact during the holiday season. Let us begin by acknowledging that Jesus is the reason for the season. Let us pay tribute to him by being a source of blessing to others, just as he has blessed us. Perform random acts of kindness, help those in need, and let your light shine. Avoid embracing a negative attitude this holiday season.

Jesus is the reason for the season. Let us rejoice in his grace and mercy. Let us strive to forgive others more and give more than we receive. At this time of year, I love to keep my mind and heart centered on Jesus. I enjoy Christmas music and appreciate all that my church and others are doing to remember Jesus and celebrate him. It’s also a great time to download the Bible app and complete one of the Christmas devotionals.

Who’s on your Christmas list? Who do you feel inspired to bless with a gift this holiday season? This year, I’m experiencing greater joy in buying presents for others than for myself. Giving to others fills my heart with peace. My shopping list includes not only friends and family members but also individuals I’d like to bless in a random act of kindness. In life, giving back and being a blessing to others can have a lasting impact. It’s a blessing to be able to give to others during this season.

Who wants to be a Grinch this holiday season? Not me! To be a blessing, you need a positive attitude, a smile, and kind words. With so much going on in this world, the least you can be is joyful and kind. Treat others like you would want to be treated. Have a positive attitude this holiday season! Remember, others should see the light that lives inside of you.

Cheers to being a blessing in this season, and rest assured the plate my mother received will be passed
