I’m in my wife era, and I plan to never leave it until death does us part. I’m thankful for my husband and our marriage. Looking at the Godly wives around me, I see what it takes to be successful as a Godly wife. Some of the keys to success include prayer, communication, and respect.
First, I must admit that prayer can get us through things and tough times. A marriage centered around prayer can always win! I see how prayer is truly a game-changer. I recently met a man named Pastor Nathan and his beautiful wife; they told me that standing up and praying for each other every night will lead to great success. I smiled and said I believe it, because Cedric and I have been praying since we first started dating. Prayer works, and prayer definitely changes things.
Next, I will say have great communication! Talk about everything. Never hold a secret and never go to bed mad. Life is too short to be mad at the one you said ‘I do’ to. Communication builds trust, fixes problems, and does so much more. Communication is definitely a major key to making all things better!
Respect is a heavy key! Just like you want your spouse to respect you, respect them. The words we say and the things we do matter. Make sure we are helping our spouse and not hurting them. Life and death are in the power of our tongues! Let’s bring life and respect to our marriage, godly women!
What I know and what I’ve seen is that prayer, communication, and respect will make a marriage shine and prosper. Take these three keys and watch how good things will become.
