Going through the past week, I’ve been slipping on my godly post and writing blogs. I’ve been very caught up with doing everything except spreading inspiration and the goodness of God! I did do and say some things, but the enemy tried to keep me tired and making excuses! I told my sister, “The devil can’t shut me up!” Spreading inspiration and showing up for my family, friends, coworkers, and the list goes on, can make a big difference. It’s not all about what I do, but also about the things I say.
I love encouraging people I know and don’t know! The most powerful comments I’ve received have been from those I met in the hospital and while serving in my church! The prayers and uplifting talks I gave made a difference! With so much negativity in the world, start making some uplifting and positive noise! Push peace out of your lips and motivate not only yourself but others! Saying one word could cause someone to do better and feel better! There is power in our words! Speak life over yourself and others! Be the light!
Social media can be good and bad! Did you know one post can help someone else or it can hurt someone? One kind word could make someone feel better and do better. One godly scripture can change the mood of a reader! The devil can’t shut me up or you! Start having a positive presence on social media! Be someone who can and will make a difference!
Words have power! I remember speaking at my church’s power breakfast, and my opening prayer was powerful. I went on stage determined to pray and uplift someone who needed it. When people told me how good my prayer was, all I could say was, ‘Glory be to God!’ Having God speak through you can make a difference.
In this season, don’t let the enemy shut you up! Shut the enemy up! Show the devil that he doesn’t have the power to hold your tongue hostage! Spread goodness every day! Spread the good news around like confetti!
