Late Flights, Late Nights, and Early Adventures!

For my sister and I annual sister’s trip, we decided to go to Chicago, Illinois this year! We went back and forth between different places, but I’m so glad we choose Chicago. The first two days were filled with favor, blessings, surprises, and fun.

Day 1

Day 1 of our trip, we had to fly out later than expected, but we made it to Chicago that evening. Checking in our hotel room was amazing. Our room was stunning, and the service was exceptional, oh, and we also go a significant upgrade. Stepping out that night was exciting, and we had the chance to link up with a close friend of ours, which was also fun and unforgettable.

After catching two flights, my sister and I finally made it to Chicago! Makeup was halfway gone, but early or late we were about to step out! Before getting out, we were satisfied to learn that we got a complimentary upgrade to our room. While being in Chicago, our hotel of choice was the Hilton Chicago on Michigan Avenue. The hotel was phenomenal, and I would recommend others to stay at this hotel if visiting Chicago.

Before we got a lift driver, I wanted to take a few more pictures. I don’t know this guy at all, but I don’t mind when someone randomly jumps in my photographs. This photo bomber as I will call him added some more excitement to my night! The picture on the left shows me looking surprised and caught off guard; the image on the right shows my excitement. I felt very safe while taking this picture. Both pictures aren’t super clear, but I told Ashlee ( my sister ) to save them for memories.

Our first night in Chicago included girl talk and Pho soup! For those who know Ashlee and me, they know we love Pho soup. On top of finding a good restaurant, we got a chance to get together with our close friend. I met our close friend Danielle by my sister Ashlee. Ever since I met her, we became good friends, and I must say she’s so positive and fun to be around! Cheers to girl talk, good laughs, and positive vibes.

Day 2

On day 2, I wore my favorite outfit! The weather was good, and I was feeling great. We got up and got our day started by taking some pictures and then preparing to go to the zoo! The zoo we went to was free! After the zoo, it was time for some food and exploring. The surprise is that we also met up with, and this time, her cousin was with her.

The zoo was everything. I made more videos of the animals rather than taking a ton of pictures. The best part was seeing different monkies and hippopotamus. A lot of the animals were sleep, but I don’t blame them; it was hot! So for you animal lovers, sorry I didn’t include pictures of them, I do have multiple videos. The good news is my sister, and I had a blast. I got a thrill from others thinking that we were twins!

After the zoo, Ashlee and I supported a family selling lemonade and cookies! It was a great cheap snack leaving the zoo. We then stopped at a donut place and a Mexican spot that both had tasty food. Later that evening, we met up with Danielle and her cousin Ashley. We went to two rooftop bars, and they both had a pretty good crowd. After seeing two rooftop spots, Ashlee and I decide to go to a nice and relaxing dinner. Ashlee food was tasty, but my sushi was a little too raw for me.
