Triple Memories

It’s time for a girls trip!

After going up and down about which places to go for Spring Break, we finally chose Panama City Beach. On most of my spring break trips, I would always suggest flying somewhere, but I’m glad that we decided to take a road trip. A road trip brings memories! Our road trip had random stops, good music, and girl talk. It’s crazy how my two friends and I have busy schedules, but we all made time to plan a trip to the beach.

Have we made it yet?

The fun was already starting on our way to Panama City Beach. While stopping to stretch in a little town, we realized that we parked in the center of a gas station drive-through. There were no signs, but a man and his family quickly told us we were blocking the drive-through to get liquor from the store. I was thinking, wow, a drive-through to get liquor? At that point, I knew there would be a lot of memories on this trip.

Arriving in Panama City Beach was a blessing. The weather was terrific. Our hotel room was nice, and most of the people working at our hotel were Jamaicans! If you know me, you know I love Jamaicans. Did we get in our hotel pool? No. We did take advantage of the beach and restaurants so close by, though!

Beach Please

The next day it was time to hit the beach! The weather was beautiful. Although we had breakfast, I was ready to taste Pineapple Willies! This restaurant was everything! The food, drinks, servers, and vibe was exciting. After eating, we made our way down to the beach.

Our first day to the beach was one to remember! Everything felt so peaceful, and we met some fascinating people. While sitting on the beach, two friendly people ask us would we do a survey. I said, ” Sure, if you take a picture of us!” Ha, they did. After our picture, we did the survey, and it was on questions about our belief and emotional well being. After the survey, the group said they liked us a lot and asked to pray for us on the beach, we accepted and Candace then also prayed for them. After that, we met some football players and a photographer who took more pictures of us on the beach.

I’m ready to shop!

Who goes on a trip without shopping? Not me. Shopping in Panama City Beach was fun! On our way to Pier Park, we stopped at a store called Everything A Dollar! This store was full of goodies! I found keychains and more, and I was honestly overwhelmed. I wish I would have taken a picture of it. After leaving that store, it was time for Pier Park and lunch! I loved the outdoor shopping and all the restaurants!

I should have taken pictures of the items that I bought. These items include a beach chair, two books, a cute bag, and new trendy belts. After eating and looking round in different stores, It was time to fresh up! We made up our mind to go to the beach again, this time at night, and after that, explore a little more.

The last day was one to remember! I found us a New Orleans spot to grab lunch, and then it was time for the beach! After feeling fabulous on the beach one last time, we decided to treat ourselves to some fine dining! The restaurant was everything! Was the food pricy? Yes, but It was worth it, and we deserve it. Later we laughed the night away and just celebrated being alive and thankful.

Cheers to the triple memories made in Panama City Beach! My only regret is not taking more pictures. I guess you can say I was living in the moment. With everything going on in the world right now, I’m thankful for this trip. I hope to take another trip soon, but as of now, I will cherish these memories.

  2. This is a great blog. I appreciate you sharing. I used to live in PC and visit quite often. Usually for deep sea fishing. Great place to get away.
