Did you know when you enter a room you could change the entire atmosphere? When you walk in, you could bring joy, help, motivation, or simply peace. Your beauty and positivity could inspire many. The wisdom you bring in once you show up could have the answer to many problems. You might feel like showing up is becoming too much, but too much is just enough to make a difference.
Never quit, keep showing up! It’s easy to quit, but showing up constantly shows you can’t and won’t be defeated. Don’t quit when you job, relationship, school work, or friendship gets hard, keep showing up. If it’s not meant to continue, God has a way of letting you know when and how to exit. Trust God’s timing.
Let your light shine. One day at work, a woman came up to me and said, “Thank you for showing up.” With little help and a huge load, I started to feel overwhelmed but my attitude and smile was still bright. Little did this woman know, she made my entire day, and those kind words meant a lot. If you don’t think others see you, trust me, they do. Your light makes a difference.
Lastly, remember that you are important. You do make a difference, and others do notice you. If you feel like showing up for others isn’t enough, do it for God. Do it to show others that showing up isn’t bad, because God is always with you. In a world full of quitters, keep showing up until God says well done!
Oh yeah, this applies to writing as well, where the work is often thankless and you’re not sure if showing up is helping at all. But if we keep doing that, one day we’ll find our break. Great post here. Thanks for sharing!
