I didn’t Panic

Leaving work early was awesome knowing it was the Fourth of July! I was glad to be going home after a stress-free day. While going home I was stuck in some crazy Georgia traffic! It was a wreck earlier that day! Glass and people had the traffic backed up! All I could do was wait and pray. I did make it home safely that night.

I always pray. Before work the next day, I got in my 30-45-minute prayer and Bible time with God. I always pray for protection on the roads, because you never know what to expect! While going to work, everything was good until my tire popped! Yes, my tire was going flat as I was turning off the interstate. Instantly, I didn’t panic. I just trusted God. Luckily, I was 2 minutes from my job. I was able to get a new tire before clocking in. The car service team pushed me in front of everyone else. I was thankful.

Prayer brings protection. I was thanking God so heavily that night while riding home from work. God was so faithful, and I couldn’t be mad about paying for a new tire, because it could’ve been horrific if my tired would have blown out while earlier on the interstate. I encourage you to pray for protection. It could be one prayer that can flip a situation.

Shoutout to God for always protecting me.

  1. Thankful for God’s protection!! Also, thankful for the provision of being able to afford a new tire. This is a reminder for me of how we can so easily and quickly lose sight of the many blessings. I am proud of you for choosing to focus on the good rather than the bad. Pray can definitely help shift our focus and mindset each day.
