Social Media Break Up?

Social Media is important, but it also can be a huge distraction. I was honestly falling behind on my goals, almost late for work, and the list goes on. I don’t think social media is a bad thing, but I do know that during this time, I need my space. Social Media is full of joy and chaos! I must admit I live for the good, but also pay attention to the bad.

Knowing when to take a break is important. I was recently trying to get something done, but spent most of my time also trying to pay attention to social media. At that moment, I felt as if God was telling me to take a social media break and FOCUS! I said yes. I knew it was time to take a break when letting go was easier than holding on. I knew this break was necessary.

I didn’t tell everyone at the moment because I felt like this was for me. I’m now blogging about it, because I might be able to help someone else out. Maybe social media is making you feel anxious, tired, not good enough, or it’s simply a major distraction. If I’m talking to you, take a break. I promise you won’t be missing too much. In the past, I remember when I got off social media for a month. When I came back, everything was the same. I just felt 100% better because I was able to get so much done with my time way.

Get some things done or simply relax! It’s time to take a break and come back feeling accomplished and free. Just like a vacation, letting go of social media for a while is luxury! Good things come after breaks. I can’t wait to see what all I’m about to accomplish.

  1. Yes sis!! Just like the caterpillar that goes into its cocoon for a reason, this break is going to be your resting in Him and preparation before God pivots you into your butterfly season. Full potential is being unlocked!!
