Queen, You Are A Leader!

“My sister once told me you are either going to influence or let others influence you, but Aeriel, you are a leader.” In life, there is a time to follow and a time to lead. Make sure if you have any leadership position you are being a leader to not only influence but to make a difference. As the old saying goes people are always watching, what are you showing them? People come and go, but a true leader will leave her mark everywhere she goes. 

This month has opened up a lot of new doors for me, but I must say I had to take advice from some powerful queens who I consider leaders! For me, I can’t listen to just anybody. When God has called you to lead, surround yourself with other leaders as well. “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another”. Proverbs 27:17. So just as those women influenced me, they also made a difference in helping me get to my next level. 

People are always watching queen! What type of image are you displaying to the public? How are you at work, on social media, at home, or wherever it might be? Respect is important to me, and I believe the best leaders are respected. At your job walk with integrity, you might not be the top boss, but you can still be a leader!

Let’s get on social media! Are you a leader or a follower? Maybe leadership is not for you, but be careful with the people and things you decide to follow.  It doesn’t matter if you’re online or offline, queen just remembers people are constantly watching. 

How are you leaving your mark? I left my last job with a cake and some sweet goodbyes. I was a hard worker and I always came in with integrity and kindness. I know that I will be missed by many because I constantly displayed my leadership skills! I also loved being a great role model to those I did and didn’t know. I plan to leave a positive mark everywhere I go! Let them see the God in me! 

So, queen, yes, I’m typing this for you. If you’re going to be a leader, be a great one! If you’re going to follow, follow leaders that can influence you to grow into one day another powerful leader! We are queens, so let’s walk the walk and talk the talk.
