Turn the Plate Over

While being at my grandma’s house, my auntie told and displayed a very important point to the family. She said imagine having a lot on your plate. She chose random items to stack on the plate. These random items represented other people, bills, work, busy schedules, and the list goes on. She said with the plate being so heavy, it can eventually break you or cause you to want to give up, but wait! She then flipped the plate over and said now you’re on top.

It’s time to flip the plate over and get back on top again. With everyday duties and schedules, you can find yourself lost and running out of time! In October, let’s put ourselves on top again and win for us! It’s ok to be a blessing to others, but always remember to be a blessing to yourself as well! Self-care is serious and important.

Trusting God and being ok with letting some things and people come after you in order to get back on top can give you less stress and more peace. If you’re reading this post with a lot of stress, let it go! It’s your month to get back on top! Get your peace back, finances in order, and whatever else you need to focus on to better yourself.

I don’t know how your plate looks, but I’m cheering for you to flip the plate over.
