Ladies, it’s a new week! I encourage you to smell your best, dress your best, look your best, and do your best! I’ve been to different places and seen many women doing the least at their jobs! Customer service wasn’t on point and appearance wasn’t on point. I wrote this blog to encourage every workday queen to keep being pretty professional and those who aren’t, tap in! Don’t only pretty professional for you. I encourage you to not only make yourself look good but also the company that you represent. Being pretty professional requires three easy keys which include your actions, appearance, and respect.
What are your actions saying about you at work? Are you lazy or always doing what needs to be done? I encourage you to not only sit at the table but to also be the table! Are you helping or hurting? Are you inspiring others to do better? Take a look at your actions and aim to be the best of the best at whatever job or personal business that you’re doing.
Appearance is a big deal! Yes, I said it. The way you look not only makes you feel good, but as for me, it makes me do more work with confidence. It doesn’t matter if you wear a uniform or not, make sure you’re on point. You and others know that hair, nails, and body odor is a big deal. Keep it pretty on the inside as well on the outside. Always keep your clothes clean and free of makeup. I also like to keep a few wipes near to clean up any unwanted spots!
Respect is the key to elevation and moving forward. If you respect others, others will respect you. Keeping it professional requires you to also treat others kind who bash you, lie on you, or cheat you! Pray for these types of people because 99% of them are low-key haters and problem starters! Be pretty professional and keep smiling right in their direction.
So, queens, get your actions, appearance, and respect in order. I promise your every day will become more peaceful, fun, exciting, and extra pretty. Don’t let your job see you at your least, always show up doing and looking your best! Be that woman that draws attention, not just for them but also for you!
