Who would have thought I would be flying to Mississippi Thanksgiving week well, I did it with my fabulous mother! We got on a plane to go spend Thanksgiving with my sister and brother in law! All I can say is I asked God to make a way, and it happened. I also asked for better plane seats and it happened! With asking came a yes and what happened next, was better than I excited!

I love my family, and I have family everywhere! Thanksgiving Day was full of family that I never met and many laughs and smiles! I can admit that everything I ate was delicious! My favorite was my mom’s banana pudding, my sister’s sweet potato soufflé, and my brother’s mac and cheese! Lucky for me, I didn’t have to make anything that day, but I did print out games that I found for us to play! I also took photos of the food and family.
The day after thanksgiving it was time to shop! Black Friday is for the real shoppers! The lines were crazy, and people were fun and kind, thankfully! We also stopped to eat at this amazing restaurant which was a 10/10! The name of the restaurant was Poke Stop!
Saturday was another adventurous day full of good food and memories! It’s crazy how I thought there would be nothing to do in Mississippi, but there was a lot! In other words, never judge a place before exploring it! The last day was filled with more stores, tasty food, and a lot of smiles. I can’t wait to visit Mississippi again.

Sunday going home was sweet and sour. Leaving the adventure behind and getting ready for work was on my mind. I listened to some of my favorite gospel songs and was thankful for favor at the airport and with our transportation. Sitting at home now thinking about all my Mississippi memories.“Never judge a place on what you heard, go experience it for yourself.”
