Oh Lord, A New Year

Like the old saying goes, out with the old and in with the new. A new year is almost here, and I’m ready for it! To be honest, for me, this year has been a year of elevation and huge faith. I must say this year gave me everything I wanted and more. I did have some ups and downs, but my highs outweighed or outnumbered my lows! With going into this new year, you might be wondering what should I do? Where should I start? Will this be a great year or not? I wrote this blog to answer some of those questions! Instead of worrying, look at the new year with excitement.

It’s about to be the year of 23! Let’s start by getting rid of the old! I write about letting go of the old a lot because it’s important to let go so we can grow. Whatever you do, please move forward. Why start something new if you’re still holding on to the old. You can move forward by getting rid of old things, toxic people, and bad habits! Cheers to walking in the new year free from baggage.

Do you have a plan? Make a goal list of things you want to do and accomplish. Do the things you didn’t finish this year or simply do new things that can elevate you in 2023! Not only write down your plans, have faith! Also make your plans known to the Lord and watch him go over and beyond for you!

Make sure you have the right mindset going into the new year! If you have happy thoughts, you’ll walk into the new year happy! Also, push back from being around people that always have something bad or negative to say. People can get in your spirit without you even knowing and before you know it, you can find yourself just like them. Before the year ends and going into 2023, choose your friends and associates wisely.

God is with you, so show up and show out!! Don’t worry about what next year might bring, have faith knowing God’s got your back. Set your mind on goals and make those goals become your reality! I don’t know about you, but I’m already looking forward to a new year.
