Chicago Me Baby

Brown Strong is still going strong. For those who don’t know what Brown Strong is, it’s a term I made up for my mom, sister, and me. It has come about after my dad died. We decide to take an annual trip to celebrate his life, and this year, Chicago was the choice! This trip was filled with beautiful views, amazing adventures, and tasty food!

Big City, big dreams! The views were everything! We stayed at the Embassy Suites in Downtown Chicago! The views were amazing, and the location was close to everything! Imagine being close to the river walk, the largest Starbucks in the world and so much more! I must say looking around, I felt like something major was about to happen. And it did!

The adventures were unforgettable! We went to Fellowship Chicago and the word was so powerful! I left inspired and refreshed! I finally got on an evening boat tour, and I felt as if I was in a movie! Wow, I can’t wait to experience something like that again! Speakeasy experience was something I’ve heard about but finally got to experience! I felt so exclusive! I was like how did this place, under the building, under a restaurant even exist. The music and the people in this speakeasy were amazing!! Let me not forget about all the festivals! We did attend the Jazz Festival for a little while.

All you foodies come to Chicago! The best food ever! Chinatown food was delicious, quick, and so hot! Joyee restaurant is the place to eat in Chinatown! The bubble tea was the best I’ve ever had. Chemistry restaurant is black-owned and was also so great! Plus, all the servers should be models! My God. The music and vibes were definitely on point! Quartino Ristorante spoiled me with a free meal and upscale food! I felt like a true celebrity! Hot Woks Cool Sushi was so cute and tasty! I had sushi and a specialty mimosa! Last if you’re looking for some good popcorn please try Garrett popcorn! Garrett popcorn shops are worth the visit!

I can honestly go on and on about Chicago! This was my second time being in Chicago and again this state owes me nothing!
