Miami Owes Us Nothing

Hotel Avalon was amazing

I asked my mom where would she like to go for her birthday and she instantly said, “Miami!” Less than three weeks before her birthday, I got on Expedia and booked a package deal to Miami, FL! I decided to choose a room on Ocean Drive. We stayed at the Avalon hotel! I must say, it was the best choice that I made. This trip was filled with luxury, favor, protection and breakthrough!

Work Hard, play harder! Luxury looks and feels good! Lord knows I was excited to celebrate my mom’s birthday, but I also needed a full break myself after working hard for the last few weeks! Seeing my sister arrive in Miami made the play harder experience even better! We went to a rooftop and ate some delicious food! I must say Miami is super expensive, but it was worth every penny!

Favor looks good on these Brown Girls! My mom was truly spoiled! Our hotel surprised her with an upgraded room, free drinks, and free access to the hottest lounge in Miami! Versace’s mansion also surprised her with singing and a free dessert! She was catered with the best service all weekend! Favor also fell on Ashlee and me as well. After many surprises and favor, I was able to snatch up some NBA tickets, the seats, and atmosphere was amazing!

Our Miami trip was a blast! Not only did we feel safe, but we were also as calm as a cucumber. Life-changing events even showed up! Believe it or not, while praying on the beach, we felt free of all the weight holding us down. We had the most genuine conversations about life, love, and everything in between. It was like a massive load was lifted off our shoulders. Looking back, I realized Miami was not only a party but also the most epic therapy session of my life!

I’ve been to Miami multiple times in the past but leaving this trip, I can honestly say Miami owes me nothing.
