D.I.Y Beauty Edition

Queens, it’s time to do it yourself. Beauty is everything to me, so I decided to learn how to do my own hair, nails, and makeup! I do enjoy going out to treat myself, but it was time that I learned how to do some things myself! As prices rise, I’ve taken the initiative to learn how to do some of my favorite beauty treatments on my own! To all the queens out there, pamper yourself, but remember you also have the option to DIY!

Hair has always been a big deal to me! I love hair, especially big hair! I started doing my own hair when I noticed my natural hair was getting weak. I honestly prayed and saw that too many hands were in my head.  I once received advice from a wise woman cautioning me about the wickedness that some hands may hold. I decided to give my natural hair freedom from others and that’s when I started to see my hair grow thicker! I also started saving more money! I went from paying $85 plus to nothing!

I love how beautiful nails look, and I’m happy that I can now do them on my own.  The nail salon prices were increasing, and I wasn’t getting consistency with how well they would look! I went from paying $80 plus to $10! I finally decided to try press on nails and honestly, I’m in love! My signature French tip looks like I left the salon! I have on the classic Kiss French tip pack! I might even try to start doing my toes next!

If you want to save money on makeup, try mastering the art of doing your own makeup. I take pleasure in applying makeup as it enhances my beauty and makes me feel extra pretty! I still enjoy getting my makeup done from time to time, but now I’m at the point where I finally know how to do it myself, and I enjoy getting the compliments. Learning how to do my own makeup is satisfying to me and saves me a lot of money! If I can do it, so can you!

So queens don’t be afraid to do it yourself! Whatever beauty project you want to try, just go for it! Most importantly, if you don’t know where to start, pray and seek God. He will help you in anything you’re trying to achieve.
