It’s a new year, and attacks have begun just as the year has started. People are losing their jobs, the news is filled with sad stories, and enemies are attacking those who love the Lord. With so much chaos happening around the world, we must remember that God is still in control.
Beware of possible attacks! God’s warning is clear: “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about as a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour” (1 Peter 5:8). But God also gives us the power to overcome the enemy’s traps. So, turn away from evil and seek God’s face. Don’t give in to the devil’s attacks, and remember that God is always guiding you.
God sits high and looks low. When everything appears to be going crazy, God wants us to draw closer and stand on His word. I’ve reduced my news intake, replacing it with church sermons and writing. While staying informed is crucial, excessive negativity can be detrimental. Remember, God’s hand is on you when you’re uncertain.
Going into the new year, I didn’t expect to have enemies. One thing I know is that my anointing irritates demons and my happiness angers unhappy people. It’s time to tell the enemies that their efforts won’t succeed. God’s hand is more powerful than enemies and their chaos. Remember that when enemies rise up against you, they must face the God who stands with you. Don’t fear enemies; pray for them.
Just as God was in control in our past, he is still in control now. We must trust God and know that he has his hands on us.
All I kept hearing while reading this is that God is still in control and watching over everything!! Awesome writer, I love your blog post =)
