Your Anointing Attracts Attacks

Pretty Girl Minding Her Business

“If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you.”  – John 15:18-19

What do you do when the glow God has on your life comes with numerous attacks from the enemy? In life, we will all encounter negative people, jealous people, and those who work as if they belong to Satan. As Godly women, we must not let the attacks of the enemy stop the light from shining that God has put in us. We must not match the energy of those who try to attack the anointing that God has over our lives. There are many reasons why your anointing is attracting attacks; these reasons could be because you don’t follow the crowd, you’re always showing up as your best, or simply because you have a big heart and your love is known by many.

Following the crowd is not for me. I love standing out and showing leadership by treating people nicely, going over and beyond, and always doing what’s right. People will look at you crazy sometimes for not following them. They’ll start talking about you and trying to go against you for no reason. The anointing over your life causes you to obey God and not people. Keep standing out and letting your light shine.

You keep shining! What I mean is that you consistently show up as your best self. You present yourself well, and you exceed expectations in all that you do. When others see you, they notice the Godfidence and glow that surrounds your life. The enemy despises seeing you approach because you radiate light. Enemies dislike seeing you happy and thriving. Attacks often come from people who are jealous, negative, or unhappy with themselves. Be assured that God will always support you when faced with attacks. Continue shining and do not allow the enemy to make you lose your confidence. As they say, hurt people hurt people.

Your kindness attracts people, and your words and actions will always be remembered. As you continue to uplift others, enemies may try to bring you down with hurtful tactics. I was once told, ‘You’re way too nice.’ My response was, ‘It’s the God in me.’ Don’t let your generosity be seen as a weakness! Keep treating others with the same kindness you would want for yourself. Don’t let the enemy’s negativity make you feel bad for being a loving and caring person. You’re set apart!

When your anointing attracts attacks, keep shining; your enemies will fall, God will protect you, and no weapon formed against you will prosper.
