Stay Ready Sis

Whew, after going to church on Sunday morning, I knew that if I wasn’t ready before now, I am. The morning prayer broke all kinds of chains loose! I prayed for many people as I heard the Holy Spirit speak to me. The message at church was powerful to me, and hearing Pastor Tolan Morgan say, “Stay ready so you don’t have to get read,” really did something to me. I knew that it was time to not let loose, but to stay with this crown on top of my head.

I know something bigger is coming, so why chill? The same thing goes for you. If you want more in life, then you must stay ready. I used to always tell my friends that you may meet your future husband when you least expect it. Those same friends are now married. They were already walking and talking like a wife before being one. Whatever you want in life, stay ready! You never know when what you’ve been waiting for will arrive.

Sin is not your friend. Yes, I’m saying that sin can seem or appear fun and exciting, but what if you were caught doing something that could and would ruin your witness? What if sin could simply cause important people to turn their backs on you? It’s important to always stay ready and don’t slip. The enemy is busy, that’s why staying ready gives you plenty of time to rebuke every attack. Going backwards is not always your friend! Stay ready and keep moving forward sis.

The wait is long, I get it. While waiting are you working, praying, and being who God has called you to be? It’s one thing to wait and be lazy, but what good is that going to do. My advice for you is to wait and stay ready. You never know when your next move is going to come knocking on your door! Your biggest dream could be closer than you think!

I’ll end this post by keeping it real. I went to church ready and left knowing that I must stay ready at all times. It’s easy to slip, but I dare not to fall. If I stay ready, I never have to struggle with getting ready. Success is following me and you too!
