Time Waits for Nobody

Enjoying myself in Chicago

I can’t believe it’s already September! I feel like it was just March, and time is constantly flying by. My mother always said that time would speed up as I got older, and now I see what she means. Time isn’t waiting for me or anyone else. Reflecting on this should inspire us to make the most of our time on earth and start truly living.

Where are you off to next, Aeriel? I’m frequently asked that due to my constant travels. This year, I’ve had three trips and will soon be in two different countries. Traveling is a way of life. Don’t stay put when God has created such a vast world to explore. Explore new places, try new foods, and meet new people. If a big trip isn’t possible, start small and explore local spots. Just pack a bag and go! You’ll only regret the trips you don’t take.

Spend more time with loved ones! Make time to visit and hang out with others more often. I used to constantly work and go home to sleep, but I stopped doing that a long time ago. I don’t limit seeing loved ones to just weekends; I make time to see them on weekdays too. Always prioritize time with loved ones because people can be here today and gone tomorrow.

Start doing things you’re afraid of! It’s time to start a business, invest in something big, or face a huge fear. Pray and go, because what you’re scared of could bring blessings. Make a list of things to overcome and start checking them off this week. Time waits for no one.

Decide to live, not just exist! Make every day feel like your best day by focusing on the good and letting go of worries about everything going wrong. Remember, time doesn’t wait, but by living in the moment, you’ll make your days feel longer and more productive, leading to greater happiness for yourself and others.
